Yusuke Oono, born in Germany and trained as an architect, has designed a surprising twist on the pop-up book. As its title suggests, unfolding this petite book in a circular fashion results in a 360-degree panoramic scene of layered silhouettes.
Here, Mount Fuji is unveiled in all its majesty, surrounded by curling clouds and a fiery round sun, and with graceful red-crowned cranes alighting on its slopes.
