The book is aimed at students and lecturers in Chinese studies, politics and economics. Joseph Y. S. Cheng is Dean of the School of Arts and Humanities, the Open Learning Institute of Hong Kong. His main research interests are Chinese foreign policy, Chinese politics and Hong Kong’s political development.
