Doojin Hwang Architects, established in Seoul in 2000, has focused on reading, researching, and reshaping the city. According to the firm, “Seoul is a living laboratory where ideas that redefine our future world cities are being tested.” Its approaches, criticisms, projects, and case studies are compiled in this imposing monograph, presented in three sections: Porosity, Tectonics, and Systems.
