This issue of AV Proyectos devotes its dossier to the Sevillian architect Guillermo Vázquez Consuegra, covering his latest European projects – in Switzerland, Portugal, France, Italy, Germany, Ukraine – and a few key proposals in Spain like the Interpretation Center of San Esteban in Murcia or the Atarazanas Cultural Center in Seville.
The issue also features four finalist proposals in the competition for the Maritime History Museum in Saint-Malo, in France, in which Kengo Kuma and Barozzi Veiga were ex aequo winners. The ‘construction’ section focuses on rammed earth, a sustainable alternative for load-bearing walls that stands out for its availability, excellent thermal behaviour, recyclability, and vast formal and aesthetic potential.
